Vascular Neurology Fellowship

Westchester Medical Center has an exceptional one-year ACGME accredited Vascular Neurology fellowship position available starting July 2020. Westchester Medical Center is located in Valhalla, NY (30 miles north of NYC) that provides acute comprehensive stroke services to the Hudson Valley. The fellowship affords extensive experience in clinical vascular neurology as well as clinical research training. During this one-year fellowship, rotations will be offered in the Neurointensive Care Unit, in-patient stroke unit, stroke consultation service, neurosonology, neuroendovascular and in-patient rehabilitation ward. The facilities include an entire floor dedicated to neurology patients which includes an 18-bed Neuro ICU, 8-bed Stroke Unit, 12 step down level beds, and neurology floor beds. Advanced imaging used to assess acute stroke patients include 24 hour availability of CT head, CT angiogram, Rapid Perfusion Imaging, and MR imaging, and Endovascular Services. Clinical responsibilities include but are not limited to daily teaching rounds with one of the Vascular Neurology, Neuroendovascular or Neurocritical care Faculty. Clinical education is further supplemented by organized cerebrovascular didactic lectures, weekly review of reperfusion cases and journal club.

Child Neurology Position

The Department of Neurology, University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is seeking to recruit a Child Neurology faculty member at the Assistant/Associate or Professor level. Candidate should be BE/BC in Child Neurology and will join the Child Neurology Division at the new Oishei Children’s Hospital. Join 6 full-time academic child neurologists in an exciting and stable program. Interest in movement disorders or headache is particularly desired.
